French families were so nice, talking to students and finding out names.
They asked us about our trip and offered to carry our luggage.
They talked about where they lived and how far it was from the station.
They got last-minute instructions from the homestay coordinator about when to return students the following week.
The families seemed so friendly, open, and willing to make this homestay as wonderful as they can for our Parkway students. We're so lucky!
I'm sure all the Parkway students are going to have an amazing time with their families during the week. They will go on plenty of excursions, and they might even go to school with their host brother / sister.
What an exciting opportunity for Parkway students to live with French families to improve their language skills.
Final goodbyes were said to teachers as the students left the station.
The adventure begins! Life in a French family. We can't wait to hear the stories of our Parkway students!
