Leaving Hotel Garden

Train and plane schedules are merciless, and there´s no room for tardiness if you want to make connections. Parkway students understand this fact, and they have been extraordinarily prompt when the situation arises. However, one of the challenges for travel punctuality is not only making sure you arrive on time, but that your bag does too. And Parkway students have lots of luggage! Our challenge today was getting the mountain of valises into the bus in order to depart for the train station at 1:45 p.m.



Parkway ingenuity rose to the occasion as students and leaders organized an assembly line to move each bag out one by one into the bus.



Students were very cooperative as they moved one heavy bag after another.



There were about six stations in the line: one student would grab the first bag, pass the next to the closest student, pick up another bag, and pass it along until it reached the end of the assembly line.


The Parkway baggage assembly line was a sight to see!


Once the bag reached the door, it was soon at its final destination. Just a few more stations until it reached the interior of the bus!



Dominic, our bus driver was very impressed with our clever, efficient handling of the bags. We had the bus loaded in about 7 minutes!
